The uphill trail to El Mirador

El Mirador is the lookout on the Blessed House land. The trail climbs, so closed shoes matter more than speed. Once you reach the top, the property, the canopy, and a slice of beach sit in one view.

Ask the team before you go, especially after rain. The walk takes about 1 to 2 hours at an easy pace, and it is free for guests who want to know the land they are sleeping on.

The path is not a city sidewalk. Roots, mud, and insects are part of the climb. That is also why the view feels earned. You leave the pool noise and arrive in wind and quiet.

Go in the morning if you want clearer air. Midday heat makes the same slope harder, and clouds can sit on the ridge in the afternoon. Carry water even if the walk looks short on a map.

Do not go in sandals or barefoot. If the team says wait a day after heavy rain, wait. The lookout will still be there, and a dry trail is a better story than a slip.
