Family gatherings in the Caribbean garden

Published August 18, 2026

A family week works best when everyone has a quiet place to sleep and a generous place to meet. At Blessed House each cabin stays private, while the pool, BBQ, and communal table pull the group back together for breakfast, sunset talks, and long lunches.

Groups of up to 45 people can stay on the property without leaving for every meal. The gardens sit between Puerto Viejo and Hone Creek, so after a shared morning you can still reach the beach in minutes.

Mornings often start slow. Kids find the pool, grandparents take the shade, and someone starts coffee in the kitchen. That mix is the point of a reunion here. You are together without being stacked in one house.

Afternoons can split. Some people walk to town, others nap, others stay at the table with cards. The land is big enough that those choices do not collide. In the evening the BBQ brings everyone back to the same light and the same stories.

If you are planning dates, tell us the size of the group early so we can match cabins. Family weeks fill with cousins and extra beds. The property is ready for that, as long as we know who is coming.
