Surf lessons at Cocles and Salsa Brava

Surf lessons near Blessed House use the breaks guests already hear about, Cocles and Salsa Brava among them. Local instructors keep groups small, usually up to 4 people, and they choose morning or evening light depending on the swell.
You do not need to arrive as a surfer. The point is a safe first session in warm water, then a ride back to the garden for breakfast or sunset.
Cocles is often the gentler classroom. Salsa Brava is famous and more serious. Instructors will not put a first timer in the wrong place just because the name is known. Trust that call.
Bring a rash guard if you have one, and expect to be tired in new muscles. Two to three hours in the water is enough for a first day. Another session later in the week usually feels easier.
We can help you book. Tell us your level honestly, even if that level is none. The right beach and the right hour matter more than courage on the wrong peak.
